Cairnstorm Irish Wolfhounds website...
We have owned & adored Irish Wolfhounds for many years, although we only began showing, & registered our affix, in 1998. It is our aim to breed for type & temperament with good health & longevity of prime importance.
There are no formal kennels here at Cairnstorm, our hounds live with us and they are an integral part of our lives. At present we have 4 hounds, Eddie, May, Gloria & Kat.
We breed only when we want a puppy ourselves - this will usually be 1 litter a year - so there will occasionally be Cairnstorm puppies available to carefully selected homes.
All Cairnstorm puppies are KC registered, dew clawed, wormed, vaccinated & liver shunt tested. They leave with puppy packs containing detailed information sheets, food, toys, 6 weeks free insurance & 24/7 lifetime help & advice. All Cairnstorm puppies have their KC registrations endorsed 'progeny not for registration', in line with The Irish Wolfhound Club recommended practice.
If you are looking for a Wolfhound puppy we often know of other reputable breeders who may have puppies available, if not we can give out contact information for the breed's club & society secretaries, so it is always worth making contact.
We are full members of both The Irish Wolfhound Club & The Irish Wolfhound Society and we follow The Irish Wolfhound Club Code of Conduct.
Nicky is an Irish Wolfhound Club & Society C list Breed Specialist Judge.
We also have 2 Irish Black & Tan Terriers, Six & Digger, and a Working Cocker Spaniel, Mac.
