Other Cairnstorm Crew....

Besides the Wolfhounds we have 3 other members of the Cairnstorm canine family. There are 2 Irish Black & Tan Terriers, Six, her daughter, Digger, who belong to our son, Jack, and a Working Cocker Spaniel, Mac, who belongs to Chuck.

Number Six at Cairnstorm - May 2002 ©

Six was born on 03.06.01 and she arrived Cairnstorm, at 8 weeks old, that July.

Six has a lovely, sunny personality and a fantastic temperament. She is a wonderful 'Earth Mother' who acts as a Nanny to all the puppies here at Cairnstorm, teaching her charges much in the way of canine dicipline & socialisation. She is also a determined worker & loves to go beating during the winter.

Six had a litter of 5 gorgeous Black & Tan puppies in March 2004 and was then spayed later that year. She is registered with the Kennel Club on the Working & Obedience Register.

Digger was Jack's pick girl from our homebred Black & Tan litter born on March 18th 2004.

She is a well rounded young lady with an amazing personality, super temperament & a fabulous shiny, long wire coat. She is completely bombproof & totally devoted to Jack, she adores joining him in any activity - particularly beating during the winter.

Jack decided he did not want to breed from Digger so she was spayed in December 2007. Like Six, Digger is registered with the Kennel Club on the Working & Obedience register.

 Halmstow Hi Flyer - July 2008 ©

Halmstow Hi Flyer - aka Mac - is a KC registered Working Cocker Spaniel bred by our close friends, Lisa Smale & Dan Farr, in August 2007.

Mac is almost completely black & his coat is beautifully glossy. He is probably at the bottom of the pack but with his happy go lucky attitude to life I really think he doesn't care.

Living with Mac has been a very different experience for us! He is incredibly active, very quick to learn & eager to please. He is devoted to Chuck and adores having one on one time with him, training for work picking up at local pheasant shoots.
